Celebrating Over 80 Years of Outstanding Education

Greensteds International School is a co-educational day and boarding school, providing a first class holistic education, based on the British Curriculum, for students from Early Years to A Level. Established in 1936, Greensteds has a culture of academic, creative and sporting excellence. Greensteds is accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS), the Independent Association of Prep Schools (IAPS) and is a member of Kenya Association of Independent International Schools (KAIIS).

Greensteds promotes ‘passion and pride’ in all aspects of school life through its team of highly professional and dedicated teachers and staff. Greensteds places great deal of emphasis on extra-curricular activities and pastoral care in order to nurture well-rounded self-assured, enterprising and independent young people.

Greensteds education is a value-based system and is based on the Seven Pillars of Greensteds, namely; Opportunity, Caring, Community, Challenge, Diversity, Dedication and Respect. These are reinforced within a friendly and truly international community well established.

Greensteds is located 16km from Nakuru, 140 km from Nairobi, and just a few minutes from Nakuru National Park and within easy reach of lake Naivasha, Elementaita, Bogoria and Baringo. We are located in the most serene learning environment, providing a perfect balance between removing students from the hustle and bustle of everyday city life without cutting them off from access to character-building activities and modern facilities.

We are confident you will find Greensteds to be the most ideal learning institution for your child, and you will be assured of a warm welcome when you come to visit.
