ICT at KS3

The KS3 ICT introduces learners to the key elements in computing and information technology, here a foundation is laid upon which prospective IT professionals nurture their basics in a broad based manner. All aspects in IT from programming, web design, gaming, graphical design, databases etc are introduced. The learners are taught both theoretical aspects of IT visa vie practical skill building. Beginning the year 2010 the department has been running a series of exams by CIE on ICT for starters. This is done alongside checkpoint exams in Maths, Science and English.
