Pastoral Care
All students at Greensteds enjoy a personal relationship with members of the teaching staff given responsibility for their holistic care.
The Medical Centre supports those responsible for student care and development at Greensteds. It is a 24/7 service, led by a Clinical Officer and additionally staffed by two well-qualified nurses. Children are cared for on-site or transferred for treatment in the hospital when the need arises. The Medical Centre communicates with parents regarding the Health Care of pupils.
Students also enjoy a healthy, nutritious and varied diet, whether in school or out on educational visits or sports fixtures.
In Senior School, the Dorm Master/Mistress works to ensure that each student is guided and supported in each area of the school and personal life. In combination with the wider teaching staff and their own team of Tutors, our Dorm Masters’ and Mistresses’ portfolio includes pastoral care; academic monitoring; ensuring the cultural, physical and spiritual enrichment of each child and the day-to-day administration of the students, including communication within the school and with parents.
